Nikko opens Suzhou hotel
Japanese hospitality giant JAL Hotels, operator of the luxury Nikko Hotels International group, has opened the Nikko-branded Suzhou Qingshan Hotel in Suzhou, China.
The 91-bedroom luxury hotel boasts a large health club and gym; a mahjong room (a traditional Chinese game); and three restaurants.
The hotel is eighth Nikko property in China and is part of a JAL's ambitious expansion plans for the brand which include further openings in Xiamen (2011), Guangzhou (2012), and a second Suzhou hotel (2013).
