Celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli and entrepreneur Dean Dunham have opened a new restaurant in Northampton.

The appropriately named Dunham Novelli Urban Bar Kitchen - which they call a cross between a relaxed restaurant, a funky bar and a cocktail launch - is the first of the duo's venues, as they plan to roll out the brand across the UK.

Novelli said: "I am delighted with our new concept. It caters for a much wider audience than my previous ventures and I am sure it will be very successful."

A fly-on-the-wall documentary named A Mad Frog and an Englishman will follow the pair as they roll out the brand, and will air later this year.
