Nuvo launch planned for London
A new fast-dining concept, Nuvo, is planning to launch five outlets in London for its new café and restaurant destination.
The company has been founded by accountants Barry Hampson and Stephen Stroud with backing from investors including Martin Beesley, managing director of Bakers Pride Europe.
The company will offer two formats, a café, which will be more than 1,000sq ft and incorporate table service in the evening and a smaller satellite outlet, which will offer takeway and delivery service.
Nuvo has been 12 months in the research and development stage and is now looking for sites.
Hampson said: “During our time working in the city we became frustrated with the lack of quality but convenient food outlets. After seeing a number of outstanding fast-casual dining operations in Australia, the US and France, we decided to do something about it ourselves..
‘We wanted to put the taste back into convenience food and the manners back into service.”
Nuvo has retained Stephen Kane & Company to identify high street and shopping centre sites in London.
