O’Shea to take up EIS role
Former Irish Rugby Union international Conor O’Shea has been appointed the new national director of the English Institute of Sport (EIS).
O’Shea joins the EIS from Rugby Football Union (RFU), where is currently the RFU’s director of the National Academy.
O’Shea will leave the RFU to commence the role prior to the Beijing Olympics later this year
Elite Rugby director of the RFU, Rob Andrew, said “Conor has made a huge contribution to the development of Elite English rugby talent.
“Through his work and vision the RFU National Academy has become the breeding ground for future senior England players we always hoped it would be.”
