Oakgrove Centre awarded Quest
The Oakgrove Centre in Milton Keynes has achieved Quest registration after just a year of operation.
The facility, managed by sports trust Hertsmere Leisure in partnership with Milton Keynes Council, opened in April 2006.
Scott Beattie, Hertsmere Leisure’s contract manager said: “To achieve this award in such a short space of time is something we and the council can be justifiably proud of and it provides an excellent opportunity for us to build upon the good work already in place.
“I am particularly pleased for my staff who work hard to provide high quality services for our users.”
Cllr Euan Henderson, portfolio holder for Milton Keynes Council’s Leisure, Sports and Community Services added: “This is a real accolade for what is still a relatively new facility.
“The Oakgrove Centre is a high-tech but friendly facility, which can be enjoyed not only by people living on the city’s eastern flank, but all over the city.”
