Oasis Spa launches onboard cruise ship
A 15,000sq ft (1,393sq m) spa has opened onboard P&O Cruises new ship, the Ventura.
Called the Oasis Spa and located on Deck 16, with a thermal suite and rasul chamber one deck below, the multi-million pound facility boasts 18 treatment rooms with many therapies inspired by ayurvedic principles. There is also a six-station hair salon as well as a manicure and pedicure area plus a large swimming pool and Thai yoga massage area.
Signature therapies include a KristalaKarma crystal massage and spa brands used will include Comfort Zone, Cosmedix and Absolute Aromas. There is also a separate treatment section for teenagers as well as a speciality SilverSpa menu for the ship’s older guests.
The Ventura made its maiden voyage from Southampton, UK, in late April. The Oasis Spa is managed by the Onboard Spa Company, a collaboration between Harding Brothers Spa group and Multitrax Maritime.
