Obese fitness instructor appeals to the masses
A 26-stone fitness instructor has given up his call centre job to teach aerobics full time to classes of people who are overweight. In what Jody Bunting calls positive sizeism, he is holding classes in his native Derby for women over 16 stone and men with at least a 38 inch waist. Bunting is hoping to attract larger people normally intimidated by super-fit instructors. Classes run for Derby City Council have already attracted up to 60 at a time. So far this year Bunting has lost five stone and hopes to lose another 11 in the next 12 months.
