Olympic stadium unlikely to house Premiership
By Helen Patenall
Culture secretary Tessa Jowell has reportedly announced that the London Olympic stadium is unlikely to house a Premiership football team after 2012.
Such a move would recoup part of the stadium’s high construction costs but would also contravene a pledge made to the International Olympic Committee that the facility would be used as an athletics and community facility after the Games.
