After keeping tight-lipped about its upcoming anime theme park project in Tokyo, developer Amusequest has finally revealed some details about its upcoming One Piece attraction, releasing a range of concept art.

Set to launch on 13 March and based around the the popular Japanese manga and later anime series One Piece, the ¥101m (US$1m, €742,500, £585,000) pirate-themed park is located at Tokyo Tower – Japan’s second-tallest structure.

Included in the attraction will be a ‘sniper training’ area, where visitors will have to defeat the One Piece’s military police force, known as the Marines, and Boss – a giant beetle – on a slingshot shooting range.

In addition, the attraction will include Nami’s Casino, Brook Horror House, Chopper’s Thousand Sunny Exploration, Searching with Nico Robin and Soul Edge of Zoro. According to the attraction’s website, these are only part of what will be on offer at the park, with more to be revealed closer to the launch date.

Known as Tokyo One Piece Tower, visitors to the park will be able to experience rides, attractions and restaurants based on the One Piece world, as well as an original merchandise shop and a line up of live entertainment.

One Piece, which first debuted in December 1997, follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy – a young man whose body gains the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit – and his crew of pirates.
