A new day spa called One Spa has opened at the RACV City Club in Melbourne, Australia.

The 286sq m (3,000sq ft) One Spa comprises a 25m, six-lane swimming pool, a sauna and a steamroom, a fully-equipped gym with yoga and Pilates classes, as well as nine treatment rooms, a hair salon and a relaxation lounge.

Spa treatments include a hot stone massage, a marine salt scrub, a body polish and wrap, a hydrating seaweed wrap and osteopathy.

The spa product range features Yo-Ka – which combines aromatherapy, plant therapy and marine and fruit extracts – as well as Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics and Jessica Nail Care.

A One Spa spokesperson said: “With more than 180 treatments performed in our first week of opening at the City Club, feedback has been very positive and members have been rebooking and purchasing gift vouchers.”

Melbourne-based architect Peddle Thorp designed the day spa in consultation with Guy Tullows.

RACV intends to roll out the One Spa concept at Healsville and Cape Shank in the state of Victoria once a membership base has been established.
