Oneworld launches universal e-ticket
Global airline alliance, Oneworld, headed by British Airways, is the first airline grouping to complete its rollout of the interline e-ticketing service (IET) between all members of the alliance.
This means that customers flying with British Airways or any of the other seven airlines in the alliance can travel throughout the combined network using just one electronic ticket.
Customers will have no traditional paper ticket to lose while connections between flights by different airlines will be made easier to book and smoother to connect.
