Our Dynamic Earth to add 4D attraction
Our Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh, Scotland, is investing £700,000 to create a permanent 4D experience.
The theatre will be an addition to the existing Journey of Contrasts gallery and will take guests on a journey from the arctic tundra to the tropical rainforests.
Supplied in partnership with Global Immersion and NSC Creative, the theatre will include a range of effects including audio, special lighting, seat movements, snow, wind and olfactory to engage viewers in the experience.
Douglas Walker, Our Dynamic Earth's commercial director, said: "This latest investment proves that there is always something new at Dynamic Earth.
He added that the new attraction will be utilised in efforts to increase the number of corporate events held at the site each year.
Work on the new facility has already begun and the attraction is scheduled to open in time for the Easter holidays.
During the construction of the theatre, the existing gallery will be closed to allow the area to be completely revamped.
