Outer Hebrides projects receive share of £1.5m
Watersports and the arts are among schemes in the Outer Hebrides to receive a share of nearly £1.5m worth of European funding.
Barra Watersports has been awarded funding to help train local instructors and buy more boats to allow more people to take part in watersports on the island. Meanwhile, Stornoway's An Lanntair Arts Centre has also secured support to provide a new community education project during Hebridean Celtic Festival week.
The funding has been made available through the LEADER Innse Gall programme.
