Oxford Hotels revamps portfolio
Oxford Hotels & Inns – formed last September following the collapse of London & Edinburgh Inns – is investing £6.2m across its portfolio of 60 hotels.
The hotel chain recently purchased Stonefield Castle on Loch Fyne in Scotland, and is refurbishing Gleddoch Country House Hotel near Glasgow, Huntly Arms in Aberdeen and Carnoustie Golf Hotel in Angus – home to this year’s British Open Golf Championship.
Managing director Mark Edwards said: “Our expansion is key to us firmly establishing ourselves in the UK. We are looking to improve a number of our properties and expand with strategic and selective acquisitions.”
The company also launched its online booking service this month. Details: www.oxfordhotelsandinns.com
