PAS 88 Breakfast Briefing – Monday 9 June
PAS 88, the new guidance from BSI British Standards, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) and VisitBritain offers guidance on the accessibility of large hotel premises and hotels chains and is designed to assist hotels to meet legal requirements under the Disability Discrimination Act (1995).
To launch PAS 88 there will be a breakfast briefing held on Monday 9 June, 8.30am – 10.30am at the Holiday Inn, Bloomsbury, London.
The briefing will be attended by speakers from EHRC, VisitBritain, BSI and the BHA, who worked on the steering group collating information for the new guidance. It will provide an excellent opportunity to hear in more detail the specifics of PAS 88 and how it can be used to develop good practice to enhance hotel accessibility for disabled visitors.
There are limited places available for this briefing so if you are interested in attending please complete the booking form and return to David Ryan at email: [email protected] or via post: David Ryan, Strategy and Policy, Equality and Human Rights Commission, 2nd Floor, Arndale House, Arndale Centre, Manchester, M4 3AQ.
