PMP and Genesis agree merger deal
Sports consultancy PMP has merged with business specialist Genesis, forming one of the largest sport and leisure consultancies in the UK.
The new company will be rebranded pmpgenesis and will be headed by chief executive Graham Farrant, who joined PMP in December 2008.
The combined staff of 55 will be spread across the company’s head office in London and four regional offices in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester and Glasgow.
Alistar Gray, founder of Genesis, will become pmpgenesis’ new chair while Peter Mann, founder and former chair of PMP, will continue to lead the company’s specialist major sports events division, pmplegacy.
Farrant said: “This move accelerates both of our strategies and positions us to win by offering a wider breadth of services and even greater value to our public and private sector clients.”
