PMP offloads pmplegacy to Chime
London-based Chime Communications has acquired sporting events consultancy pmplegacy from its parent company pmpgenesis.
Chime, a marketing and PR specialist, said the acquisition is part of its strategy to expand its event bidding and planning division.
Jim Glover, chief executive of the Sports Marketing Division of Chime Communications, said: "Developing global major event bidding expertise is a clear area of focus for the Sports Marketing Division of Chime Communications.
"As our work is increasingly becoming more international, this acquisition marks an important move for us in our ambition to work even more closely with cities, governing bodies and bid committees on insightful strategies and activation plans to win major global events."
