Pan-Asian restaurant for Covent Garden
A new restaurant called Tamarai is to be opened by the Old World Hospitality group at the end of September in London’s Covent Garden area.
Serving Pan-Asian food, the restaurant will boast a seated capacity of 110 for lunch and dinner with an additional bar capacity of 300.
Designed by Studio US one of India’s leading restaurant design companies and Design LSM, which was responsible for Carluccios and Pied a Terre, as a collaborative project, Tamarai’s interior includes hundreds of crystal lotus flower installations.
Other facilities will include a private dining room, a photo arcade and a digital gallery, showcasing cutting-edge art, that can be transformed into a screening room. The restaurant will also have a late licence and complimentary parking for patrons.
Located on Drury Lane, Tamarai is Old World Hospitality's second London site, following Mayfair’s Chor Bizarre. The group also operates a food service and entertainment centre in India and 11 restaurants in New Delhi. Details: www.tamarai.co.uk
