Panda enclosure opens at San Diego Zoo
San Diego Zoo has opened its new panda exhibit for its latest star attracion - a six-month-old cub called Yun Zi.
Kathy Hawk, San Diego Zoo senior keeper, said: "We wanted to give Yun Zi and his mother Bai Yun a larger and more stimulating exhibit.
"Yun Zi is growing quickly and has shown us he is ready for bigger things."
The new exhibit was opened to allow the public a view of the pandas, which are on loan from China as part of the world-wide breeding programme.
