Paramount Hotels’ multi-million refurbishment programme
Paramount Hotels is investing in a multi-million pound refurbishment programme of its 20-strong four-star hotel portfolio.
The Lygon Arms in Broadway, Worcestershire; the Shrigley Hall Hotel, Golf & Country Club in Cheshire – both Paramount Signature hotels – and the Paramount Walton Hall Hotel & Spa in Warwickshire will each undergo major revamps.
Walton Hall is currently undergoing a £12m overhaul and The Lygon Arms will have additional bedrooms created and its existing rooms redecorated.
Meanwhile, all 2,700 bedrooms across the group will be refurbished and certain hotels will have changes made to public areas.
Ten additional rooms will be added to the Paramount Majestic Hotel in Harrogate and 43 bedrooms added at Paramount Redworth Hall in County Durham.
Paramount is owned by Dawnay Shore Hotels, which earlier this month appointed financial advisors to undertake a strategic review of the business, which could potentially lead to a sale. Details: www.paramount-hotels.co.uk
