Passport to international recognition
An official agreement has been made ensuring that each of the 26,000-plus members of the UK Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) are given automatic membership to the European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPS).
The dual registration means working within EU Member States will be even easier for those fitness professionals who wish to do so as well as giving them increased recognition of their professional status.
Reciprocal agreements between REPs and other registers, including New Zealand and South Africa, do exist but this is the first time a joint membership agreement has been put into place.
