Perfect 10 for California Fitness
California Fitness, the wholly-owned subsidiary of US company 24 Hour Fitness, opened its 10th club in Hong Kong last month.
The club, a California Fitness-Jackie Chan Sport Club, measures 6,040sq m (65,000sq ft) and cost US$5m (£2.55m) to build. It is located within a new shopping arcade, MegaBox, and is owned and managed by California Fitness.
Facilities at the new club include a 25m rooftop swimming pool, a circuitous running track with fitness stations, an outdoor personal training centre which takes in stunning 270-degree harbour views, a Group X studio for bespoke offering JC Boxercise, group cycling studio, Kick-Fit and Xpress Zone.
There is also an extensive selection of cardiovascular and resistance equipment, plus freeweights, as well as steam and sauna facilities. Equipment providers include Life Fitness, Star Trac and Precor.
The key target market for the new club is the 20–45-year-old age range in the middle to high income brackets.
