Plans presented for 5,000-seat football stadium in St Albans
St Albans City Football Club has presented its plans for a new 5,000-seat stadium to local councillors and business leaders.
The proposed new ground would be situated in Colney Heath and would include banqueting and conference facilities and full 3G training pitch, and incorporate green technologies.
St Albans City FC – which plays in the Southern League Premier Division – said a forum to hear fans' thoughts on the stadium would be held "in due course".
Currently the club's home ground is Clarence Park, where it has been based for more than 100 years.
