Play park opens in Mendip

Mendip District Council has opened a new £55,000 play area at Egford Lane Playing Fields in Frome.

The new area has been designed according to the guidelines set out by Play England's Design for Play initiative which attempts to include landscaping as a crucial part of new play areas built in the UK.

Funding for the new recreation area was provided by a section 106 agreement.
