Points based system change from 1 April
Changes have been announced to the Points Based System, which allows registered sponsor employers to bring non-EU workers to the UK.
From 1 April, all jobs covered by the points based system, excluding those for shortage occupations like higher paid chefs, must be advertised via Jobcentre Plus.

Are you registered as a sponsor? If so, please let us know what use you've made of the PBS to bring in new staff or to renew existing staff previously on work permits. Email [email protected] preferably before Thursday 2 April, when the BHA will attend a Ministerial meeting on ethnic chefs.
