Pop-up studio concept to bring fitness to empty shop spaces
Fitness presenter Rachel Holmes is launching a new pop-up fitness concept which will see three week ‘Transformation Studios’ offer fitness, food and lifestyle advice in empty shopping spaces.
The first ‘Kick Start Pop-Up Transformation Studio’ will launch in empty commercial space in Nottingham city centre from 2-21 November. The aim of the studio is to help local people transform their body, mind and eating habits, with plans to roll out the concept across the UK.
The ‘Full Detox Package’ costs attendees £97 and gives them access to a timetable of 20 different classes including 90’s Club, several versions of Pilates, Self Defence and HIIT. There will also be a juice and blend workshop with juicing expert Mairi Taylor, plus motivational talks and support sessions.
“The Kick Start Pop-Up Transformation Fitness Studio is an idea I have had for many years,” said Holmes, who is running the venture through her wellness company Kick Start Fat Loss.
“The studio will be an amazing base for me to run the full Kick Start Fat Loss Detox programme and a chance where I can work with clients personally every day.”
Holmes is eager to ensure that attendance on the course leads to lasting lifestyle changes. After the three weeks, all members will have access to a full 11-month online programme of daily workouts, recipes, diet/meal plans, plus nutritional advice and support. Holmes will also continue to do her daily workouts via live video app Periscope, which alumni will also have access to.
