Powerleague sees 15 per cent revenue rise
Powerleague, the five-a-side football chain, has seen its overall revenue rise 15 per cent to £10.9m for the six months to 30 December.
The group, which has 24 centres encompassing 356 outdoor pitches across the UK, also pre tax profit increase by 21 per cent to £1.7m, and EBITDA increase 21 per cent to £3.5m.
Claude Littner, chair, said: “The increase in profitability has been achieved through the combination of new centres and effective marketing, which has driven sales growth and improved pitch utilisation rates.
“We have a strong pipeline of new sites at various stages in the development process, which will enable us to maintain our rollout programme.”
