Precor has launched a new support service, ActivDesign, to help operators design their fitness facility.
ActivDesign incorporates new fitness and exercise trends and is consultancy-based in its approach, rather than product led.
It has been created to take into account all design elements from flow-through, zoning, equipment choice and layout, to colours, light and floor finishes. It also includes in-club training and launch support, and on-going evaluation.
Meanwhile, Precor has also signed a new distribution deal with sports equipment retailer McSport to supply, install and service Precor equipment thoughout Ireland.
McSport has so far installed 55 pieces of Precor cardiovascular equipment in Glenroyal Hotel and Leisure Club in Maynooth, Kildare - the first site in the country to feature Precor’s Discovery Plate-Loaded strength units.
