Premiership Rugby secures new Aviva deal
England's elite rugby union competition, Premiership Rugby, has secured a four-year partnership with insurance company Aviva in a deal worth £20m.
Aviva has received naming rights to the Premiership as part of the deal, which will also see "significant investment" directed towards grassroots community initiatives. Premiership Rugby chief executive Mark McCafferty said: "A title sponsorship deal with Aviva, which is such a strong international consumer brand, is another significant milestone in the growth of Premiership Rugby and provides us with a long term partnership commitment to our sport and to our work in the community."
