Promotions at Pleasure Island
Cleethorpes family theme park, Pleasure Island, has appointed Neil Ireland as senior park executive and Karl Rothenburg as operations executive.
Ireland will be responsible for the overall running of the park and its continuing expansion strategy, while Rothenburg will manage day to day activities at Pleasure Island.
Vicky Gibb, director of Flamingo Land, which owns the park, said: “Pleasure Island has become one of the north’s leading tourist attractions in recent years and these promotions will continue to strengthen the company’s management team as the park continues to grow.”
Pleasure Island welcomed more than 250,000 visitors during 2003 and last year added the £1m Pendulus white-knuckle ride.
