PuLi hotel and spa nears launch in Shanghai
The PuLi hotel and spa in Shanghai, China will be ready to open in early 2009.
An entire floor of the hotel will be taken up with the hotel’s Wellness Centre, which will be operated under the Anantara spa brand.
The spa’s treatment range will retain a sense of culture to the destination while facilities will include five treatment suites available for individuals or couples, each equipped with steam and shower rooms.
There will also be a lap infinity pool with views across the nearby JinAn Park, a sauna, a whirlpool and a fitness centre.
Centrally located between the Nanjing West Road and YanAn Road in the middle of the Shanghai business and entertainment district, the PuLi resort is adjacent to the new multi-use Park Place development.
The resort has been designed by architectural firm Kume Sekkei, selected for its commitment to sustainability in building design.
Features will include a triple-glazed exterior with low-emission glass. It will be managed by Urban Resort Concepts, a Hong Kong-based hotel management company. Details: thepuli.com
