Public go ape for Monkeynuts
Monkeynuts Steakhouse and Wine Bar has opened in Crouch End, London.
Created by Gideon and Mattea Joffe, the son and daughter of Café Flo creator, Russel Joffe, the 2,500sq m site is situated at the former site of the Loch Fyne oyster restaurant and offers steaks, fish dishes and burgers with a selection of antipasti and charcuterie boards.
Monkeynuts also boasts a wine bar, with value wines provided by Bibendum.
Opened on 1 July, the kitchen will be headed by Ben Martin, whose previous employers include Strada, Bambou and Café Med.
Monkeynuts will offer 80 covers and be open seven days a week from 11am to 11pm. Details: www.monkeynuts.biz
