Punch retailers give rugby a try
Punch Taverns has launched a promotional guide to encourage its retailers to get the most of screening rugby matches ahead of the forthcoming Six Nations tournament.
The Connect to Rugby guide includes exclusive deals on rugby-themed promotional kits from leading brands such as Abbott Ale, Tetley’s, Brains, Deuchars, Bombardier, Spitfire, Draught Bass and Guinness.
It also contains flags, balloons, bunting and a rugby ball.
Stephen Martin, Punch’s marketing manager, said: “The World Cup in Australia proved how rugby can pull in the crowds as well as any football match.
“Connect to Rugby will help retailers convert this huge interest into increased sales and better profits.”
Punch operates 7,800 leased and tenanted properties in the UK.
