Putney leisure centre gets £400,000 revamp
Putney leisure centre has received a £400,000 upgrade of its fitness facilities.
The gym has been enhanced with the introduction of V-Plates pro vibration machines, TRX total resistance exercise equipment and Technogym indoor cycling bikes.
In addition the leisure centre's Kinetika gym has been replaced with Precor Fitness machinery and the changing facilities have been completely revamped.
The improvements at Putney are part of a wider a £825,000 investment by DC Leisure in improving sports and fitness facilities across the borough.
Wandsworth's cabinet member for environment and culture, Jonathan Cook, said: "Putney leisure centre is hugely popular with local people and offers really fantastic sports and fitness facilities.
"This investment in new changing facilities and new gym equipment enhances its reputation as a really attractive high quality fitness venue."
