Qatar Airways opens airport spa
Qatar Airways (QA) has opened a new terminal at Doha International Airport with a luxury spa for first-class and business-class travellers.
The US$90m (69.3m euro, £45.4m) Premium Terminal will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Facilities at the spa will include treatment rooms, whirlpools and a sauna.
The terminal also features an exclusive check-in with a concierge service, conference rooms and a nursery.
The 107,400sq ft (10,000sq m) terminal – which can handle a maximum of 800 passengers an hour – will be available to qualifying passengers flying with QA from Doha or in transit.
