Queensberry poised to lead Newport scheme
Queensberry has been named as Newport City Council's (NCC) preferred bidder to lead a multi-million pound mixed-use development in the centre of the South Wales city.
Negotiations are already underway between the group and the local authority to finalise the development agreement for the scheme, which is due to be signed in autumn. NCC deputy leader Ed Townsend said: "I am optimistic that the council has found a partner that can make the vision of a revitalised city centre a reality."
