Quinn to redevelop The Belfry
The Quinn Group is set to redevelop The Belfry hotel in Warwickshire, following an agreed management buy-out from Alternative Hotel Group (AHG).
Quinn bought The Belfry Golf and Hotel from De Vere – now owned by AHG – in 2005 for £186m, but De Vere continued to manage the property.
A spokesperson from Quinn said: “The Belfry is one of Europe’s leading golf courses and conference centres. It has been host to four Ryder Cups and hosts the Quinn Direct British Masters. We intend to further enhance its reputation by developing a world class hotel and leisure complex.“
