REPs Level 4 Update
A new level 4 award has been approved in stroke rehabilitation.
The award, entitled ‘Exercise After Stroke Specialist Instructor Training Course’, developed by Queen Margaret University, is the first of its kind and has the support of the Stroke Association. The first 10 graduates of the course can now apply for level 4 REPs membership.
New national standards are being developed at level 4 in the areas of cancer and exercise, and respiratory disease. Once the standards are finalised these important medical areas will be added to the list of level 4 REPs categories and training courses will be developed to allow exercise professionals to qualify in these areas.
