REPs registrar to open first online PT conference
Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) Registrar Jean Ann Marnoch is to launch the world's first online PT conference, delivering her opening address to delegates from around the world.
The virtual conference will include live sessions and means REPs members can earn CPD points and enjoy sessions from keynote speakers, including Richard Cotton, Director of Certification for the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and Andrew Ramwell from Manchester Metropolitan University, from the comfort of their own home or office. Jean Ann said: "We are well aware of how busy our members are and so we are delighted to be involved in this virtual conference that will help them increase their knowledge, and work towards their CPD requirements, more easily.
"The fitness industry is often the first to embrace new trends and I'm delighted to see it making the most of new technological advances and using them to its advantage in this way." The virtual PT conference is an offshoot of the European Institute of Fitness and was launched at Leisure Industry Week (LIW).
