REPs welcomes new team member
REPs has appointed Rebecca Weissbort as its External Liaison Manager.
Rebecca's worked in the fitness industry for more than 18 years from 'shop floor' instructor, personal trainer and senior manager through to instructor trainer and assessor.
She specialises in Exercise Referral having set up her first scheme in 1994 for the London Borough of Islington, and several others following, including cardiac rehab and a national HIV referral system for CYMCA.
She is also an accomplished speaker, having presented at major conferences both nationally and internationally. Rebecca is also a highly experienced judge for the prestigious FLAME awards and her first book, The Personal Trainers Handbook, was published in March 2006 by A & C Black.
Alongside her work with REPs, Rebecca continues to operate on a freelance basis, offering funded project management, consultancy at club level and speaking/training. She brings a wealth of experience to her role in REPs due to her long-standing involvement with quality standards within the industry.
Rebecca will be working with corporate clients to increase the level of service offered to those employers who 'bulk buy' registration places for their staff. She will be working on a part time basis and can be contacted at the REPs office or by e-mail [email protected]
