Radisson SAS, part of the Rezidor Hotel Group, is to open two new spas in Bahrain and France.

The spa at the Diplomat Radisson SAS Residences in Bahrain’s capital, Manama City, will open in June this year with a total of 18 treatment rooms – 11 for women and seven for men.

Other facilities will include five pools, including a 919ft (280m) lagoon pool, gyms, a steamroom, sauna and whirlpool, and an outdoor tennis court.

Also in June, the Radisson SAS Grand Hotel in Bordeaux, France, will open with a 1,076sq ft (100sq m) spa. It will feature a sliding-roof swimming pool, sauna, steam-bath, solarium, and a bar overlooking the city.

Designed by Jacques Garcia, the hotel will be called Les Bains de Léa and be located opposite the Opera National de Bordeaux. It will have 150 bedrooms and an Ocean restaurant serving traditional French cuisine.
