Radisson hotel for Russian exclave
The Rezidor Hotel Group has opened the 178-room Radisson Hotel Kaliningrad.
The new hotel is situated in the heart of the city, a seaport and the administrative centre of Kaliningrad Oblast, a Russian exclave between Poland and Lithuania and geographically separated from the rest of Russia. The majority of the hotel's rooms, be they Standard or Deluxe, offer views of the historic city centre. Higher room categories also feature extras such as Nespresso machines, bathrobes and slippers. The Presidential Suite comprises four rooms, a Jacuzzi and a sauna, all spread over 130sq m (1,400sq ft).
Wining and dining options include the Verres en Vers all-day restaurant and the Lobby Lounge Bar. Elsewhere in the hotel are nine meeting rooms, a business centre and shopping facilities.
