Rainbow racer opens at Metrodome
The latest attraction at the Metrodome Leisure Complex has been called the Rainbow Racer after a competition was held to find a name for the new four-lane slide.
Seven-year-old Hollie Winterbottom, who came up with the winning name, won a Nintendo Wii console and Wii Fit.
Mick Daley, Metrodome manager and deputy head of operations said: "We were overwhelmed with the response to the slide naming competition. Congratulations go to Hollie for her creativity in coming up with such a great name and we hope she enjoys her prize, as well as visiting the Metrodome regularly to use the slide!
The facility is operated by Barnsley Premier Leisure.
