Rank confirms executive resignations
Rank Group, the owner of the Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casino brands, has announced that chief executive Ian Burke and finance director Paddy Gallagher have quit the board.
Burke has held the position since March 2006, while Gallagher joined the company in June 2008. Both of the resignations from the board are with immediate effect. The news comes as Rank Group is subject to a takeover bid from Hong Kong-based Guoco Group. However, the pair will remain with Rank while successors are identified.
