Raymond Revue to reopen as gay nightclub
One of Soho’s most famous strip clubs, The Raymond Revue Bar, is undergoing a complete facelift and will relaunch as a gay nightclub on 10 September.
A brainchild of Paul Richardson and Mark Pearce, the 6,000sq ft Too 2 Much aims to provide indulgence and luxury with a daily programme of contemporary theatre, comedy and live music.
Facilities at the site include two bars and an auditorium for shows.
Each night, the venue will host shows until 10pm, after which the venue will transform into a nightclub with music-based entertainment from live DJs, performers and musicians.
Anarchitect’s award-winning Steve Jensen has designed the art deco interior and the cocktail list has been drawn up by Milk & Honey’s Nick Drewery.
The club’s menu consists of ‘room service’-style club food, including an organic egg & chips dish and Sevruga caviar.
Too 2 Much has also recruited a number of celebrities to pen down a set of house policies, which include Graham Norton’s code of conduct: “Best behaviour will not be tolerated”. Details: www.too2much.com
