Rebrand for Jurys Inn
On the back of seven new hotel openings in 2009, Jurys Inn is to invest £9m in 2010 on updating and expanding existing hotels in support of the hotel group's new tag line - Exceptional Everyday City Hotels.
The company has also revealed a new logo, said to incorporate "warm tones in line with its warm service". Both the logo and the new tag line will start being used immediately and eventually appear on all menus, in-room guides, stationery and uniforms. In a further move, the Jurys Inn website has had a revamp. During 2010, Jurys Inn will open new hotels in Bradford and Portsmouth, with a further two - in Gateshead and Glasgow - scheduled for 2011. In addition, Jurys Inn Islington is be expanded with 150 new rooms to meet demand at the hotel which currently runs at 90 per cent occupancy.
