Record numbers at Moscow’s international fitness festival
The International Festival for Physical Culture and Sports, held recently in Moscow, attracted more visitors than ever this year.
Over its five-day duration, the festival was visited by 14,600 fitness professionals and amateurs from 450 cities across Russia.
Events at the festival included: the Fitness Convention, with 185 seminars from industry specialists, including a keynote and masterclass from Dr Kjell Nördstrom; a three-day Aqua Convention; Children’s Fitness Marathon; and a 3,000sq m (32,300sq ft) trade show with more than 100 exhibitors.
The festival was supported by the Moscow Committee of Physical Culture and Sports, SOCHI 2014 Bid Committee, the Russian Aerobics Federation, and Russian club chains World Class and FizKult.
