Red Bull throws down gauntlet for fitness industry
Energy drink Red Bull has launched a competition in order to find an innovative fitness training concept that can be implemented in gyms across the UK.
The Red Bull Fitness Focus was developed in order to create a brand new training session which focuses not just on the body, but also on the mind.
Rules to the competition have been kept to a minimum – to encourage creativity – and entries only have to follow a few basic guidelines so that they can realistically work in a gym environment.
Olympic gold medallist Darren Campbell, one of the judges on the panel for the competition, said: “Red Bull Fitness Focus is a big idea for the health and fitness industry.
“It encourages initiative and fresh thinking within training and educates gym goers on the value of cognitive alertness within workouts.”
The competition is open to both UK fitness professionals and non-professionals. Application forms can be found at www.redbullfitnessfocus.co.uk
