Reebok puts its heart on your feet
Sports equipment giant, Reebok, is giving away $1m (£560,000) worth of walking shoes to help kick start its Wear Your Heart on Your Feet campaign, which launches this month.
As the official footwear sponsor of the American Heart Association’s Heart Walks, which take place throughout the US, Reebok is promoting walking and other forms of physical activity to help reduce the risk of heart disease.
According to the American Heart Association, heart disease remains the leading killer of women in the US.
“The campaign will reinforce the message that physical activity is an important way for women to reduce their risk of heart disease," says Jan Sharkansky, Reebok's vice president, women's marketing.
