Refurbishment for Flintshire fitness facilities
Flintshire County Council (FCC) has announced that four fitness suites will temporarily close during March in order to allow renovation work to be carried out.
Bridges Fitness Suite at Holywell Leisure Centre has already benefited from improvements, while work has now started at Flint Leisure Centre. Facilities at Mold and Deeside centres are also set to be revamped. Each of the four fitness facilities will be equipped with new Technogym cv and resistance machines as part of the scheme, along with pieces of new Wave, Vario and Radiant equipment.
Holywell's new facilities were unveiled on 8 March, while Mold Leisure Centre's gym is scheduled to reopen on 15 March. Flint and Deeside's leisure facilities are due to open on 22 and 29 March respectively.
